Endgame Spoilers! 6:15 - 55:37, with a couple minor things said later that might be spoilers? Honestly, it doesn't get much better after spoilers; Jade is sick and Brent is tired, so consider this whole episode spoilers for Avengers Endgame.

F I don't really follow MK plot, I only played a couple of the games out of 11, which clearly disqualifies me XD Wait, dinos, what Doesn't sound like a bad way to justify having old and new characters I also can't remember anything about 10... There's a bee queen? I mean, Sanderson's books for one? XD

Sorry, whenever I hear people (well, Americans) talking about Alex Jones, I always think "What, her?" I saw Endgame today and I thought, "Well, I'm glad I saw it, but it doesn't deserve to be the HIGHEST EARNING MOVIE EVER!!!" Everything played out pretty much as I expected (only "Evil" Nebula hearing "Good" Nebula's message was a surprise) but otherwise... it played out pretty much exactly as I expected. I did tear up when Tony died, however - I'm not made of stone (though I can do a pretty good impression at times).
Hey, Marisa Tomei will always be Hot Aunt May to me!
I assume Thor will lose the weight before he appears in any MCU movies. And is New Asgard on Earth? Because with 50% of the world eliminated, it was probably not a problem establishing a Colony of the 50 surviving Asgardians. But with everyone back, the people living in Norway(?) might object to a group of refugees taking over their village.
My problem with Captain Marvel saving the day wasn't that she had her Lady Legion to protect her, it was that they were almost completely unnecessary. Aside from the fact she could overpower anyone on the battlefield, she could just fly over everyone once she'd taken out the air support. She reminded me of how the Battle of Minas Tirith was unsatisfactorily concluded with the Army of the Dead smart bomb. I'd also like to see Skrulls as "Evil" without making the Kree "Good" (they would represent insidious infiltrators as opposed to the Kree's fascist conquerors).
So... in Mortal Kombat, I can play with Jade's skin? As Brent would say, "Hot".

Now that more of the reviews have come in, I'm sooo relieved that the consensus is "good, not great; Infinity War was better", because that's basically how I felt. I've heard comparisons to Age of Ultron, with the idea that people are high on it now but will come down from that and think "wait, it wasn't that good, was it?", which I feel are pretty apt, but I was super worried it'd be like Last Jedi, and be a lot of "you don't understand, this movie is *so much better* than the last movie (Force Awakens/Infinity War), and I always thought that last movie was shit". I saw the early reviews raving about Endgame and thought that because I didn't absolutely love it, it was gonna be that all over again. Thankfully, isn't. Phew.

I messaged Brent after the call like, "Shit, we forgot to talk about Nebula!". He didn't think it was a problem, but I found it clunky, since all of a sudden Nebula has a wifi connection to her other self across the galaxy, and that becomes the reason why past Thanos gets involved.

Yep, New Asgard is on Earth, and they had the percentage of Asgardians left after Ragnarok, then Thanos killing half the escape ark, then the gauntlet killing half of that. And now that last half is back, thanks to the unSnap, so... could complicate things, yeah.
