I have to say, prior to my first D&D session I was explained that I should make a character which works well with the group's whole deal. That showing up with the pathological pyromaniac CN sorcerer for a Tolkien-ish good-guy heroic epic adventure was going to throw a wrench into everything.
Here, the very first thing I hear about S3 Dice Funk in its introductory episode is we have a Lawful Evil Undead PC followed by a legit - albeit mechanically augmented - LG Paladin. Plus it's Skitch's paladin.
It does make more sense considering the setting's a melting pot that I'm picturing sort of like the Fantasy-world Scottish Moors version of the Kyln from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Still, I'm not betting much on the good Viscount's long-term survival in this season.
My Druid character in my 5e campaign is very similar to Chris' Zoe, though her youthfulness was caused by shape-shifting to the point she forgot her initial appearance and merely appears as a child because it's just easier to get free stuff and pass unnoticed. Though his reminds me more of Lina Inverse, who is frequently mistaken for being far younger than she actually is and has a - barely mentioned - slightly older sister who's simply better than her in every conceivable way.
I feel like Dora needs some kind of notable conveyance for her turtle that's both functional and adorable. A backpack maybe? One that's also turtle-shaped, and filled with swamp muck which could be thrown at people.
Also, on a general note, does anyone have much tankiness? I'm assuming Rolen has some, but I don't know to what degree.
I can see why Skitch went with an Intelligence-focused Paladin given that literally everyone else is stacked heavily in Charisma.
Anyways after binge-listening through to the end of the last season and into the post mortem this Friday, and am looking forward to this season. I'm the type that really likes to start new games and that freshly-rolled character smell, though my enthusiasm can be spotty for the long haul.
Edit: Also, did Rolen's horse have a name? I feel it should have one.
