Heh Numbers -nods- About meeting people - same... Aww, Winnie in your PC :3 Attaching to Terry Pratchett sounds great Ooh, fighting Jade's sneaky... Like a thief. Aww -hugs- That Predator story XD Inspiration is pretty hard -nods- I write almost all of my ideas down, but without much success, as you can see XD Dactylic pentameter is fun Dang, writing in Latin is pretty cool! I noticed that badgers are brought up more often than other animals in steampunk music (mostly in Professor Elemental's lyrics and jokes of Hatchworth from SPG). I thought that maybe there's some cultural context I'm not getting, but apparently not XD Guns ruin both magic and karate -nods- Santa Claus does sound like an easier job. But Death means immortality... I dunno I'm afraid that if I'd learn a skill without effort, I would die from shame XD Exchanging a skill for another skill would be cool though. Titledrop Yeah, instakills in games rarely feel satisfying when they happen to a player. Reminds me of (approx.) quote from Terry Pratchett: 1 chance out of a thousand happens 7 times out of 10 XD -nods- Not liking writer's style is often a turn off for me -nods- Technology not progressing in Extended Universe - can that be because writers weren't allowed to add to lore too much? Ship recycling -nods- New old Millennium Falcon's paintjob looks kinda like R2 XD (if I found the right picture) (I hope how I see myself is far from truth XD) (I don't get how people are often dead certain about things that aren't particularly important. It's not worth it) Poor Rinaldo and his catchphrase -nods- Yeah, Bumbershoot probably attacked newcomers who were distracted by the wall
There was a blue and white YT-1300 ship in the background of Revenge of the Sith:
Also, the article accompanying it says: "We also finally find out how the Falcon is supposed to load cargo: apparently a cargo pod of sorts can dock between those front forks, ready to be ditched at the first sight of the authorities."
I think I missed Jade saying she'd seen me with her shirt off during the call
Aww, I'm so glad people notice my poems - sometimes I feel like I'm just tossing them off to please myself (...so to speak). Since we recorded this episode, I have written & recorded a possible wrestling entrance theme for Captain Krakenbane: Seize the Win!
Dactylic pentameter is fun Dang, writing in Latin is pretty cool!
The only bit I can remember from "Fabula Hironis et Gladius Kensei"* was the first line: Hiro cum Ando ad Vegam in Nissam Venturam adVenit (Hiro, with Ando, arrived in Vegas in a Nissan Ventura)
The capital letters mark the start of each metrical "foot", which is the stressed syllable. Whether any Latin scholar would agree with my vocabulary or scansion is another matter!
When I said Death Becomes Her I meant Dead Like Me, where the dead have to work for a "living". But Death can die in certain franchises - in Discworld, there are plots to kill DEATH in a couple of books, and in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, although Death never dies, a couple of the other Endless do (Dream and Despair, specifically). Since they're similar beings, presumably Death could die too (though she would be replaced).
For a film I've professed to be pretty Meh! about, I really do seem to be obsessed with The Last Jedi (at least listening to Shack Funk)!
