Woah, theme song *hugs Jade* Lauren's lore! (Austin is surprisingly good at making scary villains. That description of a needle...) Ooh, I started playing Minish Cap and got too annoyed too XD ... Da Firenze! Woo for the pet robo Lenora would be a great Card Wizard XD I imagined that magic bullet like a sci-fi blaster shot with sparks all over Theodora turned out amazing XD Elisa is great XD *hugs Lauren* I don't know about Pokémon to choose a type XD Heheheh, Ana's great I currently have Professor Elemental's "You're Invited" on repeat. Hm... cool jazz sounds great right about now *googles* Yep, the form of Capitalism XD *bows to the patron of Dankness* Les Mis Hams is amazing (Dicefunkbox? More like steamed hams box.) Shack Funked Steamed Hams! "Seagulls, Stop it now" is great XD Aww, Hatehog :3 (H8Hog!) Poor fishies... Nice cat songs I should watch "Cats" -nod- Yeah, I find it hard to watch/read depressing stuff too These days "Private eye" makes me think of Ghanny, tbh XD
To celebrate the Shack Funk birthday, here is some birthday cake (well, banana bread) I made. And then ate. According to Jade, via the global interconnectedness of the Fun'kh particles, this means the whole Shack got to eat it (It was very nice).
Didn't realise this episode would be recorded so close to the last Dice Funk (that's some impressive turnaround by the Funky Empress)!
Well I guess the Patron of Dankness' answer didn't contradict my Dora/Vinnie fic, since it was explicitly after she met Ghanny (but I'd love to know if Lauren had seen it). I would say it's pretty dark (and NSFW), but having seen how S3 turned it could still fit with canon (there's also some Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey-ness about when it happens, given how S2 ended).
Jailbreaking fish! Launch a search party! Maybe you shouldn't have shown him Finding Nemo.
Cool for Cats is another catty song from when I was a boy (1979!). McCavity is (per TS Elliot) the Master criminal cat ("The Napoleon of Crime") - he's an Expy of Moriarty.
Hannibal was so stylised that most of the time, it's hard to remember the bodies (that were there every week!) when the food was so gorgeous that you were salivating over it even though it was supposedly made of people!
(The Big Sleep is by Raymond Chandler, featuring Philip Marlowe as the detective)

I nearly did my S2 recap to a Star Wars Medley ( # Dice Funk, Dmed by Austin, set inside Ilium, under a dome - Players, Leon and Lauren, Skitch and Chris Larios, then Laura joined...# ), but it was too hard to match the lyrics to the music (either thematically or simply in terms of getting all the plot in to the amount of tune).
