Yay Scorpions look cool -nod- Yeah, I don't really see the appeal of European Dragons, which are everywhere, but if you diversify your dragons - sure. Big ol'snake ;D Turtles are good :3 Myths are often about body liquids and parts for some reason, yeah XD That legend about the dragon reminds me of the fairy tale about the Gold Fish who granted wishes, although that one ends without blood XD -hugs Zoen- damn laws Switch is a hoax -nod- Didn't even hesitate before saying "Kingdom Hearts" XD I had two bionicles at home, probably lost to time by now XD Dat Bionicle lore I... don't remember what I meant by that question now... Jolly cooperation! About cycles in myths - I was about to say Dark Souls too XD There are some great books about that I always suggest, but they never had an English translation, so Curses that don't allow one to tell anyone about them are neat. "Not being able to taste the bomb" - the worst curse XD Honestly, there's a couple of hiccups, but that part sounds good I should try strawberry pizza, sounds interesting Heatstroke mechanic in AC: Origins? That's dope XD Hmmmm, I've never built a sandman... Leon's laugh is great Yeah, I have to force myself to keep listening when Graves happens. -hugs Jade- Veltaris XD Dark Blue is my favourite -waves-

Bionicle note: I rewatched both Mask of Light: The Movie (the first Bionicle movie; nostalgic classic but not great tbh) and The Legend Reborn (much more solid movie; better directed, better animated, better voice acted. Only disappointing that it was supposed to be a trilogy, but only part 1 got made), and the latter reminded me that I was slightly off about the cosmology: Metru Nui, Voya Nui, and most of the islands were indeed inside a giant robot body all along, but the original Mata Nui island was external. The Mata Nui giant robot was laying under the ocean on some planet (forgot the name; something Magna) and the Mata Nui island was on his face. Since everyone retreated beneath the surface and back to Metru Nui at the end of Mask of Light, they were all safe when the robot woke up and smashed the island while sitting up for the first time in millennia.

Mistakes are canon! Words to live by (hey, it works for every politician).
It's pure terrestrial prejudice to assume that a mount has to be a LAND mount (though riding an octopus does sound tricky)
Sorry, "Getting our minds OUT of the gutter"? Am I listening to the right podcast?
Even though it is SHAMELESSLY US-centric, I always get misty eyed hearing the President's speech in Independence Day ("We will not go gentle into that goodnight... We will not give in without a fight!"). Aragorn's speech at the gates of Mordor is pretty good, too ("Some day the courage of men may fail... BUT THAT IS NOT THIS DAY!"). The sort of thing that really gets your patriotism boner getting stiff... even though neither is my country (nor do I think patriotism is a particularly good thing, but that's what makes the speech so impressive).
I'd love to write (and sleep!) more. Every writer I have heard talk about it says, "Force yourself to write something every day" and I do actually try to do that. But the idea of working (at least for other people) if you didn't have to is just bizarre to me.
Veltari Squared would be amazing. Or Swift Justice & Anne for their "aggressive" approach to justice. Though I think Rolen/Anne would be interesting too, for their different approaches to their faith (& tolerance).
With time travel, you can procrastinate INDEFINITELY (tomorrow could LITERALLY never come). But I think I'd tell my younger self (OK, not exactly the question, but I could write it down), "Take more chances. You're going to regret far more the things you DIDN'T do than the things you did."
