Hiii :3 Teleportation is my power of choice too Cheers for monstergirls! My first Discworld book was the Colour of Magic. Yeah... Star Destroyer stuck in the middle of the planet? Sounds great XD TAZ! Yeah, I tried to get into Critical Role and FatT, but couldn't too. Ooh, saucy Dice Junk spoilers "We still got time" - *looks at the length of the episode - an hour left* - Yeah, I guess so XD Fiiine, I'll go see Black Panther this week Maybe. If there are good seats when I get to the theatre (can't buy a ticket on-line, for some reason). I just don't like the dub, you know. Cheapshow podcast is pretty crass and fun too, it's a conversational kinda thing with two British guys. Ooh, titledrop Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken pizza -nod- I guess, 4-cheeses pizza has 3 cheeses as an additional topping? Fuck, the favourite letter... now I'll have to think about it... Boba Fett just really likes that Pit -nod- Ooh, that AC DLC sounds cool You killed a dead person What Ruby said! It's very much winter here now. I hate it XD Good choice of Dracula XD Space robot vampire I need to do something about that. Or with that. Or... Bats are fucking great :3 Flying foxes especially. Downward Squid The Form of Salty, itself XD Good Star Wars takes
Would you teleport with a "Bampf!" (it would make sense due to displaced air)? Also I tend to feel that if you're doing it purely for ease of use, you'd find yourself slicing it ever finer (it would also depend somewhat if they're is any sort of Masquerade).
Listening to everyone's role in the Funky Shack Anime, I can't help noticing NOBODY (myself included) is the main character!
I had to start Sir PTerry at the beginning - there WERE no other Discworld books when I started reading them (though I dove into the Vokosigan saga and Honor Harrington from the middle outwards)
Come to think of it, my first Star Wars book was Splinter in the Minds Eye, which was the first story to be declared non Canon. It was set between A New Hope and Empire, but couldn't have happened in the light of later events.
Asimov (I wrote an obituary for him - he was Life President of our Bristol University Sci Fi Soc and I was editor of the magazine) wrote Foundation in order, but felt he'd written himself into a dead end with Foundation & Earth, so went back to the start of the series (Prelude to... and Forward, the...), partly to tie them into the (Chronologically even earlier) Elijah Bailey novels.
Challenge accepted! They're not lesbians in Princess Principal. Of course, I don't have a clue what you're talking about as I've never seen it, but spouting off in the complete absence of knowledge is what the Internet is all about.
Gross and wrong porn, Jade? Surely not!
No bone in pizza? You've never had dick pizza? (sorry, couldn't resist). NOTHING WRONG WITH EXTRA CHEESE!
Con Air is awesome. The Rock is pretty good too.
Wait, Boba Fett didn't just escape from the Sarlacc, he did it TWICE?
David Weber's Honor Harrington series is suffering from the opposite problem - the plot has pretty much stopped advancing over the last few books (he's basically been recapping previous novels). It doesn't help that our heroes are scything their way through the enemy ATM. Of course, the guy is a complete fascist (by his own admission).
Disney had Buzz Lightyear meet a vampire!?
In terms of the prequels, I would have had Darth Maul survive Ep 1 but die in Ep 2, introduce Grevous in Ep 2 and take over as the "Face" of Team Evil until he finally dies in Ep 3 (obviously, Palp is the Big Bad throughout).
