I think for me it's the contrast of having Batman be the only one in costume in a world where you'd think costumes would be irrelevant (aside from the batsuit's practical armor purposes).
Also not sure what future Flash was talking about with Lois being "the key" and "you were right to fear Superman.". Is Supes gonna be resurrected evil?
So in the end, he is so far above and beyond humans, that he actually shouldn't give a shit, but Lois is the one thing that ties him to humanity and when she dies … well he won't build a glass castle on mars and pout, but wreck shit, I guess.
But I have other, simpler problems with this movie and I thought about it today after seeing the RC episode again. First of: it's a film about Batman and Superman fighting, so I really have no high expectations and honestly no one should imo.
However there were a few times where I thought, look movie, I'm not a clever man, but that isn't how things work. And I don't even mean clever film technique stuff, like Leon pointed out, I mean physics and logic. Just a few: how big is this damn harbor, that they can have a brawl of the gods there? The crate, batman throws over head, with his grappling hook at two thugs – nope. Lex just walking into an super advanced alien ship and is immediately captain, because he stole fingerprints?! And being at spiting distance to nuclear missile, when it detonates … he is Superman, I get it, but that is just not how things work.
