I'm trigunotacu, but mostly I can be referred to as Brian (username is a long and rather uninteresting story). I live in the suburbs of Arizona and currently work a swing shift as a courier. I have always had an interest in anything creative be it music, writing, or artwork but I had been on a 5 year hiatus until just over a year ago which might as well mean I am a novice once again. I'm currently working on getting better at 3d modeling and animation so that I can develop a pilot for an animated series I've been sitting on for several years. I still practice traditional drawing to do quick sketches and storyboards but most the time I am more comfortable doing things digitally (can't live without those layers).
I first found the funk crew by watching their videos/reading the articles on BlisteredThumbs, and eventually listening to the BT Podcast and so on. Since I have a history of drawing all the characters from my own D&D campaigns I thought it'd be good practice to give the Funk Crew's characters a chance as well as a few little comics based on their misadventures. Somehow I managed to land a commission from Austin early in Season 1 to do a title card and sadly couldn't continue doing regular artwork due to a massive influx of day job work and expenses.
Recently I've been doing more artwork based on the podcast, as well as story boarding an animation for the pivotal fight scene from season 1 but finding time to actually work on it has become a very difficult task. I still intend to do an animatic at some point, but my ambitions for fully animating it will have to wait until I have more free time (Whether it's going to be 2d or 3d I really don't know at this point.)
I may only post here sporadically since I can never anticipate what my work schedule will be. If there's anything you feel like chatting about feel free to contact me on twitter since I'm always open to shooting the shit with people.
